Accenture’s U.S. federal subsidiary has been awarded a contract worth up to $480.4 million over five and a half years to develop an artificial intelligence-centric system for task and correspondence management across the Department of Defense. This new system, named the Joint Enterprise Task Management System (JETMS), is designed to serve approximately 200,000 users across 68 defense and interagency organizations, including various service branches and administrative agencies. The Pentagon and Army leadership view JETMS as a critical tool to reduce manual administrative tasks and provide leaders with quicker access to information for daily operations and decision-making.
