Shasta County Office of Education Hosts Summit to Empower Father Figures
The Shasta County Office of Education is organizing a half-day summit titled 'The Father Effect: Moments That Matter' on April 25, aimed at supporting children and families by empowering father figures. The event will take place at SCOE's facility in Redding, California, and is designed to bring together fathers, caregivers, educators, and community partners. It will feature true stories, shared experiences, and practical reflections to help strengthen the support network for fathers. The term 'father' is broadly defined to include biological dads, stepfathers, grandfathers, uncles, coaches, and mentors. Participants can register via email or online.
