Canada's H135 'Juno' Helicopter Completes Initial Test Flights, Enhancing Military Training
Canada's military training program has achieved a milestone with the completion of initial test flights for the H135 'Juno' helicopter. This aircraft is part of the Royal Canadian Air Force's (RCAF) Future Aircrew Training (FAcT) program, which aims to modernize its training fleet. The H135, designated as CT-153 Juno, is the first of 19 helicopters ordered and is set to replace older models like the Bell 206 and Bell 412. Manufactured in Germany, the helicopters will be operated by the 3 Canadian Forces Flying Training School in Manitoba. The program also includes the acquisition of other aircraft types to enhance training capabilities.
