Porter Airlines Flight Canceled Due to Child's Refusal to Buckle Up, Causing Delays
A Porter Airlines flight from Victoria International Airport in British Columbia to Toronto was canceled after a young child refused to sit down and buckle up. The incident forced the plane to return to the terminal, delaying the flight past the airport's runway closure time. The airline attempted to secure the child in the seat, but was unsuccessful, leading to the removal of the parent and child from the flight. As a result, the remaining passengers were disembarked and rebooked on a flight the following day. Porter Airlines has apologized to the affected passengers for the inconvenience.
