Detroit Metro Airport offers a DTW Destination Pass, allowing non-travelers to access the Evans or McNamara Terminal. This program, launched nearly three years ago, has seen strong participation, with over 185,000 users since 2023. The pass enables individuals to accompany travelers to the gate, providing peace of mind for families and friends. It also boosts foot traffic for shops and restaurants within the terminals, supporting local businesses. The pass is available daily from 4 a.m. to 9 p.m., requiring a REAL ID or TSA-approved identification for access.
