InterContinental Fiji Introduces Sleep-Focused Tourism Amidst Record Visitor Arrivals
The InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa has launched new heat and cold therapy treatments and a sleep-focused stay experience, reflecting a growing trend in wellness and health-oriented travel. This development comes as Fiji records its highest-ever visitor arrivals for June, with 98,522 tourists, marking a 6.3% increase from June 2025. The surge in tourism is supported by new resorts, upgraded accommodations, and enhanced connectivity, expanding Fiji's appeal beyond its beaches to include wellness, culture, ecotourism, and adventure. The tourism landscape is further enriched by new agritourism experiences like Honey & Hive Fiji, which offers bee-education experiences, and the Legacy Trail, an ATV experience in Koroyanitu Heritage Park.
