Severe Weather Prompts Early Start for Oklahoma Sports Events
The University of Oklahoma has adjusted the start times for its baseball and softball games scheduled for Friday due to anticipated severe weather. According to the National Weather Service, inclement weather is expected to hit Norman and surrounding areas around 8 p.m. As a precaution, the baseball game against Missouri and the softball game against Arkansas will now begin at 5:30 p.m., earlier than their originally scheduled times of 6:30 p.m. and 7 p.m., respectively. The decision was announced through releases on the university's athletic website, emphasizing the need to avoid the forecasted severe conditions.
