Florida Woman Arrested for Extortion After Demanding $25,000 from Boyfriend Over Secret Relationship
Nathalie Rodriguez Gonzalez, a 19-year-old woman from Florida, has been arrested on a charge of threats/extortion after allegedly demanding $25,000 from a man she was dating. Rodriguez Gonzalez discovered that the man had a long-term girlfriend and subsequently threatened to expose their intimate photos to his girlfriend and business partner. She also uploaded censored versions of these photos to TikTok and messaged friends about her intent to 'scam' the man. Police reports indicate she repeatedly demanded money, threatening to post the images on Instagram as well. Rodriguez Gonzalez was held on a $7,500 bond, and if convicted, could face a $10,000 fine and up to 15 years in state prison, in addition to repaying any money taken.
