Dickens, Chief Knowledge Officer Alex Alonso, and Vice President of Thought Leadership James Atkinson, the briefing emphasized the need for a balanced AI legislative framework. SHRM's approach advocates for clear rules on high-impact employment decisions, worker safeguards, and support for workforce readiness and reskilling. The organization aims to prevent a fragmented regulatory landscape that could confuse employers.
