Lollapalooza 2026, a major music festival held in Chicago's Grant Park, concluded after a four-day event that attracted approximately 400,000 attendees. The festival, which has been a staple in the park for over two decades, resulted in 10 arrests and 67 hospital visits, according to the city's Office of Emergency Management and Communications. The arrests were primarily for criminal trespass, with a few involving battery or assault. The festival grounds were left in a muddy state due to rain, necessitating a significant cleanup effort. C3 Presents, the festival's promoter, is responsible for the cleanup and restoration of the park, which includes replanting and repairing damaged areas. The Chicago Park District and festival organizers will assess the damage and agree on a restoration plan within a week of the festival's end.
