Mécène Collection Showcased at Francophone Business Summit, Highlights Cultural Heritage
The Mécène collection, a significant private collection of banknotes from the French-speaking world, was publicly unveiled for the first time at the Entrepreneurial Excellence of Francophone Diasporas summit in Paris. The event, held under the patronage of Emmanuel Macron, brought together entrepreneurs and institutional partners to discuss international cooperation and trade. The exhibition showcased historical banknotes that reflect the economic and monetary heritage of French-speaking regions, including items from French Polynesia, New Caledonia, Martinique, and French Somaliland. The initiative, supported by the Groupement du Patronat Francophone and Spink & Son, aims to strengthen the connection between economic activity and cultural heritage within the Francophone community.
