Bianca Clinton Honored as African Legal Icon for Continental Impact
Bianca Akweley Clinton, a British-Ghanaian lawyer, was named African Legal Icon at the 2026 African Heritage Awards. The event, held at the Mövenpick Ambassador Hotel in Accra, recognized Clinton for her contributions to corporate governance, financial law, and institutional reform across Africa. With over 20 years of legal experience, Clinton has held senior roles at ProCredit Ghana and Access Bank, and served as Legal Manager at PwC Switzerland. Her work with the World Bank Group as a Technical Consultant has influenced governance and regulatory reforms in the ECOWAS region. Clinton is also an entrepreneur, with her venture Raindrops on Petals selected for the Stanford University Aspire Seed Program.
