Amber Alert Issued for Missing L.A. Child Seen at Mexico Border with Suspect
Authorities have issued an Amber Alert for 5-year-old Daleza Fregoso, who was allegedly abducted from Los Angeles by Ruben Fregoso. Surveillance footage obtained by a local news outlet shows Ruben Fregoso with his daughter at a parking garage in San Ysidro, near the Mexico border. The Los Angeles Police Department conducted a welfare check at the child's home, where they found her mother deceased due to violence. The California Highway Patrol issued the Amber Alert after the child was last seen with Ruben Fregoso in a 2019 Land Rover Discovery. The vehicle has been located, but both the child and suspect remain missing.
