Port of Lisbon Achieves Record June for Cruise Passengers and Ship Calls
The Port of Lisbon has reported its best June ever for cruise activity, with 81,735 passengers passing through, marking a 53% increase from June 2025. The port also recorded 37 ship calls, the highest for this month, and a significant rise in turnaround operations, which involve passengers beginning or ending their cruise in Lisbon. This growth is attributed to increased embarkation and disembarkation operations, with the number of passengers embarking and disembarking both more than doubling compared to the previous year. The first half of 2026 saw 302,496 passengers and 165 port calls, reinforcing Lisbon's position as a key European cruise destination.
