PanTher Completes Dose Escalation in Pancreatic Cancer Trial and Appoints New Board Member
PanTher Therapeutics has successfully completed the dose escalation phase of its Phase 1b clinical trial for PTM-101, a chemotherapy patch designed for non-metastatic pancreatic cancer. The trial, which evaluates the safety and pharmacokinetics of PTM-101, has identified a 400mg dose as the recommended Phase 2 dose. This dose is four times the maximum tolerable dose when delivered systemically, highlighting the potential benefits of localized therapy. The company is now enrolling patients for the dose expansion phase across the U.S., with results expected in the first half of 2027. Additionally, PanTher has appointed Dr. Tim Clackson to its Board of Directors, bringing his extensive experience in oncology to the company.
