Melanoma Research Alliance Invests $18.4 Million in Global Research Initiatives
The Melanoma Research Alliance (MRA) has announced a significant investment of $18.4 million to fund global research initiatives aimed at advancing melanoma detection and treatment. This funding will support 30 discovery-stage research grants and initiatives such as the RARE Melanoma Research Consortium and the Melanoma Biorepository. These efforts are designed to address complex and underserved forms of melanoma, with the goal of improving patient outcomes. MRA's investment spans leading academic and medical institutions across the United States and five other countries, reinforcing its role as a global leader in melanoma research.
