SED and Gradiant India Implement Zero Liquid Discharge System at Gujarat Solar Plant
Spray Engineering Devices (SED) has partnered with Gradiant India to deploy a Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) system at a solar PV manufacturing plant in Gujarat, India. This high-tech water recovery solution aims to enable up to 94% wastewater reuse, significantly reducing the plant's freshwater dependence. The system uses SED's patented Low-Temperature Evaporation technology to recycle wastewater into ultra-clean water for reuse, addressing the challenge of massive water consumption in solar manufacturing. This initiative is particularly crucial in water-stressed regions like Gujarat, where industrial groundwater use is heavily scrutinized. The project aligns with India's renewable energy goals and supports sustainable manufacturing practices.
