New Jersey Launches Statewide AI Training Program for Workers
The New Jersey State AFL-CIO, in collaboration with the New Jersey Department of Labor & Workforce Development (NJDOL) and Rowan College of South Jersey, has initiated a statewide artificial intelligence (AI) training program. This grant-funded program is designed to equip workers with the knowledge and skills to understand, utilize, and protect themselves from the potential risks of AI in the workplace. A key aspect of this initiative is its worker-centric approach, where union members actively contribute to shaping the curriculum and delivery methods. This ensures that the training directly addresses the concerns and needs of those who will be interacting with AI technologies in their daily jobs.
