Hospital Hosts Metal Concert for Patient Unable to Attend Live Show
Tim Berry, a 27-year-old patient at Bruyère Health in Ottawa, Canada, had a dream of attending a metal concert, which was made possible by the hospital staff and local community. Due to his medical condition, Berry was unable to leave the facility, prompting clinical chaplain Roshene Lawson to organize a metal concert at the hospital. The event featured the band The Scepter, who performed a 40-minute set, providing Berry with an authentic concert experience. The initiative was supported by the local venue Dominion Tavern and involved hospital staff who created a concert-like atmosphere, complete with tickets and metal-themed attire.
