Rochester Man Dies in Canandaigua Motorcycle Crash, Investigation Ongoing
Raymond Brown, a 67-year-old man from Rochester, died following a motorcycle crash in Canandaigua, New York. The incident occurred on Buffalo Street Extension around 4:30 p.m. on Friday, July 17. Brown was involved in a single-vehicle crash and was subsequently flown to Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester by Mercy Flight helicopter, where he succumbed to his injuries. The Ontario County Sheriff's Office is investigating the cause of the crash, which remains undetermined. The crash led to the temporary closure of a portion of Buffalo Street Extension while deputies conducted their investigation, but the road has since reopened.
