Stellantis Worker Dies in Tragic Fall at Center Line Facility
A United Auto Workers member, James Brasher, died in a workplace accident at the Stellantis NV facility in Center Line, Michigan. Brasher, 57, was discarding old office furniture from a second-story loading bay when he fell approximately 25 feet, striking his head on a dumpster below. Despite wearing a safety harness, it was not attached to a tether. The Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration (MIOSHA) has opened an investigation into the incident. Stellantis expressed condolences and emphasized employee safety as a top priority.
