Daughter of Hollywood Star Receives Death Threats Amid Legal Battle Over Disability Dog in Scotland
Claire Kellerman, daughter of late Hollywood actress Sally Kellerman, is facing death threats and abuse following a legal dispute in Scotland. Kellerman, who moved from California to the Outer Hebrides four years ago, initiated legal action against the Great Bernera Community Development Trust after being denied entry to the Bernera Café with her disability assistance dog. The trust, initially wrongly identified as the café operator, incurred £7,000 in legal fees. Kellerman then shifted her legal focus to the Bernera Community Association (BCA), the voluntary group that actually runs the café. The ongoing legal battle has garnered significant media attention, leading to a fundraising appeal for the BCA and a wave of derogatory comments and threats directed at Ms. Kellerman, many of which target her American background. She claims to have received insults calling her a 'roaster, mad, a sociopath and a psychopath,' and even death threats against her dog.
