Delaware Launches Permitting Accelerator to Expedite Infrastructure Projects
Delaware Governor Matt Meyer has announced the launch of a Permitting Accelerator aimed at reducing bureaucratic delays in infrastructure projects. This initiative, part of the JobsFirst program, seeks to streamline the permitting process for projects in energy, transportation, broadband, and housing. The accelerator will provide a single point of contact within the state government to expedite approvals and reduce costs. A public dashboard will be developed to track project progress, enhancing transparency and accountability. The initiative is a response to historically slow permitting processes that have hindered development and increased costs.
