George and Amal Clooney have evacuated their home in southern France due to severe wildfires affecting the region. The couple, who purchased the property between Saint-Tropez and Aix-en-Provence in 2021, expressed concern for their safety and the safety of their community in a letter to the mayor of Brignoles. The wildfires have forced over 220,000 people to evacuate in France. The Clooneys, who recently obtained French citizenship, emphasized their commitment to the community and their intention to help rebuild if necessary.
