Gov. DeSantis Appoints New Judges to South Florida Courts
Governor Ron DeSantis has appointed several new judges to fill open seats in South Florida's judicial system. Among the appointees is Christopher Green, who will serve as a judge in the 11th Judicial Circuit. Green has been a Miami-Dade County Court judge since 2023. Alicia Priovolos, also from Miami, joins Green in the 11th Judicial Circuit. Priovolos has served as a Miami-Dade County Judge since 2023. Additionally, Gustavo Losa and Johanna Benedi have been appointed to the Miami-Dade County Court. Losa has been a Senior Associate General Counsel for Universal Property & Casualty Insurance Co., while Benedi has worked as an Associate Trial Attorney for Farmers Insurance Exchange. Autumn Gurrola and Jeffrey Martz have been appointed to the 15th Judicial Circuit Court.
