Bangladesh Seeks Stronger AI Cooperation at WAIC 2026
Bangladesh is actively participating in the World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC) 2026 in Shanghai, China. The event, which runs from July 17 to 20, gathers global leaders to discuss the future of artificial intelligence, emerging technologies, and international AI governance. Faqir Mahbub Anam, Bangladesh's Minister for Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology, is representing the country. The conference aims to foster international cooperation in AI development and governance, with discussions involving heads of government, policymakers, and technology leaders.
