Venice Biennale 2026: National Pavilions Announced with Global Artists and Curators
The 61st edition of the Venice Biennale, a prestigious international art exhibition, is set to open on May 9, 2026. This event will feature national pavilions from countries around the world, showcasing a diverse array of artists and curators. The main exhibition will follow the curatorial plan of the late Koyo Kouoh. Participating countries have announced their representatives, including artists and organizers, who will present their work in various venues across Venice, such as the Giardini and Arsenale. Notable participants include Genti Korini for Albania, Matías Duville for Argentina, and Khaled Sabsabi for Australia, among others. The event will run until November 22, 2026, providing a platform for contemporary art and cultural exchange.
