Unlimited Systems Data Breach Exposes Patient Information, Potential Class Action Investigated
Edelson Lechtzin LLP, a national class action law firm, is investigating a data breach involving Unlimited Technology Systems, LLC, a healthcare practice management software company. The breach, disclosed to the Iowa Attorney General's Office on July 1, 2026, involved unauthorized access to files containing personal and health information of patients. The breach was detected on October 19, 2025, and involved unauthorized access between October 5 and October 10, 2025. The compromised data includes personally identifiable information (PII) such as names, Social Security numbers, and addresses, as well as protected health information (PHI) like medical records and insurance details. Unlimited has not identified the responsible party, and no group has claimed responsibility for the breach.
