Missouri Department of Agriculture Launches 17th Annual Photo Contest to Highlight State's Agricultural Efforts
The Missouri Department of Agriculture has initiated the 17th annual Focus on Missouri Agriculture photo contest, inviting residents to capture and share the essence of agriculture in the state through photography. The contest, which runs until June 5th, encourages photographers of all ages to submit images that depict various aspects of Missouri agriculture. Categories for submission include Beauty of the Farm, Faces of the Farmer, Around the Barnyard, Everyday Life, and Kid’s Corner for youth aged 12 and under. Participants can enter up to three photos per category. The contest aims to showcase the diversity and vibrancy of Missouri's agricultural sector, with entries judged on visual impact, creativity, memorable content, and image quality. Governor Mike Kehoe and Mrs. Claudia Kehoe will also select the First Family’s Choice photo from the winning entries. Winners will be announced in early July, and their photos will be displayed at the Missouri State Fair in August.
