Congressman Kean Facilitates Reopening of New Jersey's Long-Term Care Facility for Seniors with Brain Injuries
Congressman Tom Kean Jr., representing New Jersey's 7th District, played a pivotal role in the reopening of Complete Care at Willow Creek, the state's only long-term care facility dedicated to seniors with traumatic brain injuries. The facility, located in Franklin Township, had been closed due to extensive damage from Hurricane Ida in 2021 and a subsequent fire. Kean's efforts included working with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services and the New Jersey Department of Health to resolve issues related to the facility's Medicare Provider Number, which was crucial for its reopening. The facility welcomed its first patient on August 3, marking a significant milestone for senior care in New Jersey.
