Fatal Pedestrian Accident on Florin Road in Sacramento Raises Safety Concerns
A tragic accident occurred on Florin Road in Sacramento, California, where a woman was struck and killed by a vehicle early Friday morning. The California Highway Patrol reported that the incident happened around 6:08 a.m. The driver, who was traveling westbound, attempted to brake but was unable to stop in time to avoid hitting the pedestrian. The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation. Authorities have stated that alcohol is not suspected to be a factor in the collision. The identity of the deceased will be released by the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office after notifying the next of kin.
