Annapolis Lowers Speed Limit on Forest Drive to Enhance Safety
Annapolis is set to lower the speed limit on Forest Drive from 40 to 35 mph as part of a $10 million initiative to improve road safety. This decision follows a 2023 safety study that identified over 500 crashes on the road over five years. The plan includes enhancing crosswalks, bus stops, and traffic signals to reduce accidents.
