In contrast, Firestone reported the lowest accumulation at just three inches. The Denver metro area experienced snow totals ranging from seven inches in Mountain View to five inches in Denver, with 4.7 inches at Denver International Airport. The storm began on Monday night, initially bringing heavy rain to the Denver area and the Front Range, which transitioned to snow by Tuesday evening. This weather event has led to school closures and travel disruptions across the region.
