Employers Express Confidence in Higher Education's Workforce Preparation
A new report by the American Association of Colleges and Universities reveals that 85% of employers believe higher education institutions are effectively preparing students for the workforce. The report, titled 'The Agility Imperative: How Employers View Preparation for an Uncertain Future,' highlights the value employers place on degrees from institutions that promote constructive dialogue and diverse perspectives. The survey, conducted by Morning Consult, involved over 1,000 executives and hiring managers. Despite public skepticism about higher education, employers appreciate the skills and competencies that colleges instill in students, particularly those that enable them to engage in constructive dialogue and avoid groupthink.
