GSA Releases Playbook to Streamline Government Agency Operations
The General Services Administration (GSA) has published a new playbook titled 'Elimination, Optimization and Automation' to assist federal agencies in automating repetitive tasks. This initiative aims to free up employees to focus on mission-critical work. The playbook is based on lessons learned from federal pilots and mature automation programs, as well as GSA's internal efforts to improve operations. It provides a framework for agencies to implement automation initiatives, with the goal of saving and automating one million hours of workload. The playbook includes best practices and tools to help agencies deploy technology and drive efficiencies within their workflows.
