Arab American National Museum to Host 2026 Book Awards Reception and Ceremony
The Arab American National Museum is set to host its 2026 Arab American Book Awards Reception and Ceremony on Saturday, October 24, 2026. The event, which is free with RSVP, will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. ET. The ceremony will feature readings from the awarded works by the 2026 Arab American Book Award winners and honorable mentions. The schedule includes doors opening and a reception at 5:30 p.m., the ceremony at 6:30 p.m., and a book signing at 8:00 p.m. This event aims to provide a platform for the Arab American community to showcase their voices and stories, especially at a time when many in the community feel silenced. The event is made possible in part by the Dr. Anan Ameri Book Awards Endowment Fund, Drs. Barbara and Adnan Aswad Endowment Fund, George Ellenbogen Endowment Fund, and Evelyn Shakir Endowment Fund.
