Alena Sadie Malanie Hill Sherlaw, a centenarian from East Ryegate, Vermont, passed away at the age of 101. Born on April 20, 1925, she spent most of her life in Vermont, contributing significantly to her community. Alena was married to Harry Sherlaw in 1942, and together they raised four daughters. She worked in manufacturing and was deeply involved in community service, particularly in caring for senior citizens. Alena was a member of the Forever Young Club and was known for her crocheting skills, creating doilies and dressing stuffed bears for children. Her family includes three surviving daughters, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Alena's life was marked by her dedication to family and community, leaving behind a legacy of service and love.
