Healthcare Leaders Prioritize Workplace Safety Amid Operational Disruptions
A recent survey conducted by Axon, a global public safety firm, reveals that 93% of healthcare leaders in the U.S. consider workplace safety and security as a critical priority. The survey, which included over 250 healthcare and retail leaders, highlights that 84% of healthcare leaders have experienced moderate operational disruptions due to safety and security challenges in the past year. These disruptions have led to issues such as employee turnover, reduced productivity, and increased costs related to hiring, recruitment, insurance, and legal matters. To address these challenges, a significant majority of healthcare leaders are in favor of increasing investments in safety and operational efficiency. Proposed solutions include the use of drones, real-time monitoring systems, employee wellness initiatives, and AI-powered solutions to enhance safety and operational effectiveness.
