Body Recovery Underway at Tempe Town Lake Following Overnight Incident
Authorities in Tempe, Arizona, are preparing to recover a body from Tempe Town Lake following an incident that occurred early Monday morning. First responders were dispatched to the lake around 1 a.m. after receiving reports of a person going underwater near the Rural Road bridge. Police and fire crews initially conducted a search and rescue operation, but the effort has since transitioned to a recovery operation. Fire crews are expected to dive for the body sometime on Monday morning.
