Boise State University Unveils New Construction Management Building Amid Growing Industry Demand
Boise State University has officially opened its new ESI Construction Management Building, a dedicated facility designed to support its growing construction management program. The university reports a significant increase in demand for construction managers, driven by the ongoing development in the Treasure Valley and across Idaho. The new building serves over 560 students and features hands-on learning spaces that simulate real-world construction environments, including areas for surveying, concrete work, structural steel, and crane safety. The project, dubbed 'Bronco Built,' saw extensive involvement from Boise State construction management alumni in its estimation, design, and construction, with current students also gaining practical experience during the building process. This facility is notable as the first fully industry-funded academic building on the Boise State campus, supported by over 200 donors.
