NSW Opens New RNA Research and Manufacturing Facility to Boost Therapeutic Development
A new RNA Research and Manufacturing facility has opened within the Macquarie University Innovation Precinct, as announced by the NSW government. This $96 million facility aims to position NSW as a global leader in RNA technology, enabling the development and manufacturing of RNA therapeutics. The facility will support the production of a wide range of RNA-based treatments, including vaccines, cancer therapies, and pest-control solutions. Industry partner Aurora Biosynthetics will collaborate with researchers to advance therapeutic innovations towards clinical trials.
