UNICEF Launches Youth Advisory Group to Enhance Global Mental Health Data
UNICEF has announced the formation of a Technical Advisory Group on Child and Adolescent Mental Health Measurement (TAG-CAMHM), which includes youth advisors. This initiative aims to improve the collection and use of data on mental health among children and adolescents globally. The group will consist of researchers, practitioners, and five youth advisors aged 18-24, who will bring their lived experiences to the table. These advisors will work alongside experts to influence how mental health data is collected and utilized, with the goal of shaping better mental health policies and services. Successful applicants will receive a stipend and opportunities to participate in global advocacy initiatives.
