Yeshiva University President Advocates Jewish Pride Amid Rising Anti-Zionism
Yeshiva University President Rabbi Dr. Ari Berman addressed the growing concerns over antisemitism and anti-Israel sentiment in the United States during New York's annual Israel Day Parade. Berman emphasized that the strongest response to these challenges is confidence rather than fear. He described the parade as a powerful demonstration of Jewish unity and resilience, with thousands participating in a celebration of Israel and Jewish identity. Berman highlighted the role of Yeshiva University as a bridge between Jewish and non-Jewish communities, noting that many of its graduate students are not Jewish but leave with a deeper understanding of Israel, Zionism, and Jewish values. He stressed the importance of education and personal interaction in combating stereotypes and misinformation.
