Albertus Magnus College Launches Accelerated Master's Degree Program for First Responders
Albertus Magnus College has introduced a new educational initiative offering eligible first responders the opportunity to earn a master's degree online in one year for a total tuition of $20,000. This program is specifically designed to accommodate the demanding schedules of emergency personnel, allowing them to pursue graduate education without significant time or financial barriers. The initiative applies to four select graduate degree programs and targets a wide range of first responders, including peace officers, firefighters, ambulance drivers, emergency medical responders (EMRs), EMTs, paramedics, 9-1-1 dispatchers, and Department of Correction employees, as defined by Connecticut General Statutes § 52-146v. The college aims to empower frontline leaders with practical, real-world skills applicable to their careers and communities.
