San Antonio Hotel Experiences Dozens of Vehicle Break-ins, Police Respond 13 Times
The Homewood Suites by Hilton San Antonio North, located near Loop 1604 and Stone Oak Parkway, has been the target of numerous vehicle burglaries and criminal mischief incidents. Since August 8, the San Antonio Police Department has been called to the hotel 13 times in response to these reports. Guests staying at the hotel have reported dozens of vehicles being targeted, with many experiencing shattered windows. One guest, Jake Knies, noted seeing broken glass in the parking lot repeatedly, with an estimated 18 vehicles damaged over a recent weekend. Another guest, Brenda Drgac, who was in San Antonio for a doctor's appointment, also fell victim to the burglars, incurring significant unexpected expenses for window replacement.
