NASA's Super Guppy, a unique and recognizable aircraft, is set to make a return to the EAA AirVenture Oshkosh in 2026. Known for its oversized fuselage and distinctive appearance, the Super Guppy is expected to be a major attraction at the event, drawing aviation enthusiasts, photographers, and curious visitors. The aircraft, which first appeared at Oshkosh in 2000 and last attended in 2023, was originally developed in the 1960s by Aero Spacelines Industries. It is based on the Boeing C-97J Stratocruiser and was designed to transport oversized cargo that conventional airplanes could not accommodate.
