Representative Ben Cline Introduces Bill to Support Veteran Entrepreneurship
U.S. Representative Ben Cline has introduced the Veterans Entrepreneurship Act of 2026, aimed at supporting military veterans in starting or acquiring businesses. The bill proposes a three-year pilot program, managed by the Small Business Administration, to provide educational entrepreneurial training to up to 250 veterans eligible for GI Bill benefits. Participants would develop business plans with guidance from program advisors, and grants equivalent to 36 months of GI Bill educational assistance would be available to help veterans open businesses or purchase franchises.
