U.S. State Department Expands Passport Services with Special May Fairs
The U.S. State Department has announced a series of special passport acceptance fairs throughout May to accommodate high demand. These events will be held across eight states, including Florida, New York, and California, offering extended hours and weekend access. The fairs are designed to assist first-time applicants, children, and those required to apply in person using Form DS-11. Some locations may also accept renewal applications. The initiative aims to provide more opportunities for applicants to submit their paperwork outside regular business hours, addressing the challenges of securing appointments during peak times.
