Senator Mitch McConnell Discharged from Rehabilitation Center
Senator Mitch McConnell has been discharged from a rehabilitation center following a fall at his home in June, which resulted in a brief loss of consciousness. The 84-year-old Senator was treated for a mild case of pneumonia during his hospital stay. In a statement, McConnell expressed gratitude for the support from friends, colleagues, and Kentuckians, as well as the care he received from medical staff. He plans to continue his recovery at home with an intensive regimen of physical therapy while remaining engaged with Senate business.
