Patrick Leahy Burlington International Airport Launches Nonstop Baltimore Flight After 16 Years
Patrick Leahy Burlington International Airport (BTV) has initiated its first nonstop flight to Baltimore in 16 years. The inaugural flight, operated by Breeze Airways, landed at BTV with passengers from Baltimore and then departed for Baltimore/Washington International, continuing on to Vero Beach, Florida. Nic Longo, the airport director, highlighted that this new route is one of nearly ten new services added by the airport recently. The initial flight saw approximately 90% occupancy on its 100-seat aircraft, which Longo described as 'fantastic' for an inaugural service. Breeze Airways will operate this new nonstop service on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, offering a direct connection from Burlington to Baltimore and a 'Breeze-through' option to Vero Beach, Florida.
